Blog Entry #4- Tom Ford at London Fashion Week Spring 2015

Tom Ford at London Fashion Week Spring 2015

In the eyes of many, including myself, Tom Ford's Spring 2015 line was spectacular, and awe-inspiring. The clothing was eye-catching, and the show was very exciting to watch. I loved his use of contrast; the clothing was pre-dominantly black, however there were some pieces that glittered and glimmered with metallic colors to complement.  I found his line to be edgy and intimate.  It was provocative yet classy and sophisticated, truly embodying the Tom Ford woman.

Blog Entry #3- Trends from the Streets

Street style.  The beauty of it being so many thingsit's a effortless, limitless, unique, and inspirational, to say the least.  I see the style of others as a form of self-expression.  Are you edgy?  Daring? Soft spoken?  In my opinion, what one wears says a lot about them.

Take a glance at the awesome styles of a few friends of mine; they each have their own distinct look.

RC's style is clean and effortless.  The play with denim on denim is definitely a consistent trend through the seasons.  She completes her outfit with a black leather back pack and white Air Max 90's; you can never go wrong with a pair of classic kicks.

Anissa kept her outfit cute and simple.  But, she added classic taste to her look by pairing her quilted Chanel cross-body bag and Chanel espadrilles.  Timeless accessories can easily put the finishing touches on any outfit.

Stephanie fell right into the Fall season with the perfect attire.  Autumn is the perfect time for cute and comfy clothing.  Oversize sweaters are a MUST.

Blog Entry #2- Must Have Key Item for Fall 2015!

With each collection that is showcased for the seasons, the styles that stay and the fads that fade, we see how fashion constantly develops new definitions. Its daring, its fresh, its new, its risky, and needless to say its unforeseeable.  On the other hand, its important to keep in mind that although fashion is often times unpredictable, it can actually be very predictable as well.

With the new technology of the present, along with the fashion experts, style watchers and trend trackers that we have in the industry, forecasting the trends and key items of upcoming seasons is effortless.  We all have the power to be a medium of style and trend!

I say all of that to say this.  Check out this key item for Fall 2015! Here I give you, the blanket coat.
You may have seen this piece showcased on the runway of a couple of Pre-fall 2014 fashion shows from designers like Burberry, Chanel, and ChloĆ©, so we can consider the blanket coat a current trend.

Luckily for us, this key item is predicted to continue on into the Fall 2015 season.

Blog Entry #1- Blog Lovin'

Ah, the beauty of blogs.  When I'm home I love to throw on some warm sweats, grab some comfort food and get lost in blogs for hours on end.  I've come across quite a few that have grabbed my attention, but i have to say that my top 3 favorite blogs are Man Repeller, The Sartorialist, and Where Did U Get That.

Man Repeller is my go to blog for all fashion news and updates.  Leandra Medine, the creator of the blog, gives tips on all the latest trends around the world!  She also showcases her style which I must say is impeccable as well as inspirational.

In my opinion, The Sartorialist is the dominant blog for street fashion.  Scott Schumann captures the styles of your everyday male and female out on the city streets.  What I love most about this blog is that it gives people a sense of knowing that their style is admirable and that it doesn't go unnoticed! Anytime I need help with choosing an outfit, I immediately hit this site for inspiration, and it NEVER lets me down!

As we all know, there are people in the fashion world who refuse to reveal the sources that provide them with their awesome style.  Luckily though, there are others who feel that fashion is universal and should be shared with all!  Where Did U Get That is an awesome blog for sharing style and giving tips on where and how to grab those items that are simply to die for.
